we include the last comma in a series: winkin, blinkin, and nod
when referring to a web site, the name of the site serves as an active link
book titles should be given in italics; essay titles in quotes
punctuation should be placed "like this," before a quotation mark
use single space after period at the end of a sentence
no spaces between points of ellipses...
quotations exceeding two lines of text are set off with a single tab space:
    like this...
    ...
    ...
and with a single space added before and after the offset text
