A lot of what Lincoln would say would, I think, depend on the situation which brings his words to us. Is he speaking to us, somehow, from the past? Or has he traveled through time to be here now? Or perhaps he has somehow been kept alive for 150 years in some secret lair? These varying circumstances would, of course, effect the kinds of things he would tell us. Maybe when he was assassinated he didn't actually die, but was instead spirited away to another galaxy by aliens, to another planet where people live forever. In that case maybe he, like Kevin Spacey in "K-PAX", would just say "Your produce alone makes the trip worthwhile."
