Poet, performer Taylor Meade is probably most well-know for his
appearances in the Errol Morris' Saturday Night Live films of him
talking with his cat in his kitchen on the Lower East Side. He
starred in many of George Kuchar's movies, and has directed films of
his own (most are immolating in the vast film vaults of the Warhol
Estate...). During the Factory's filmmaking heyday (Warhol and his
shop-floor workers often cranked out 5 films a week) Taylor was
there, exercising his keen poet-observer eye, and having a bit of fun
as well.
